In our first two years running we have been able to successfully rescue and re-home over 275 dogs.

We at Paws-United would like to extend a very heartfelt Thank You to the family and friends of Chris Fulton, who lost his life in a very tragic accident on Feb 6, 2012. Chris was an animal lover and a cherished husband, son, brother, and freind. His life on this earth was too short, but with what time he did have, he made a huge impact on the lives of the people around him. He has also touched the lives of the dogs in the care of Paws-United, as his family has generously requested any donations made on behalf of Chris be directed to PUDR, to help out our dogs in need! With a tragic accident comes a good deed!
In Memory of Chris we were able to raise $2400 to help us with the extensive vet care we encountered with a few of our dogs this year. This money went to help us purchase prosthetic feet for May, who lost her two front paws in a steel leg hold trap (she has now been adopted into a loving home). It helped us get the surgery required to have Cherry eye corrected on two of our dogs, Callie, and Benson (who have also both been adopted into their furever familes). It also helped us get the eye surgery required to correct Astro's Entropian, as well as have a tumour removed from under his eye. Without this generous gift from the friends and family of Chris Fulton, we would not have been able to provide these dogs with the care they required to live out a normal happy life. Chris Fultons memory will live on in the lives saved and touched by his generosity and his love for animals. For all those who were lucky enough to have known such a great man, and were able to call him, brother, son, husband, or friend, we thank you, and we are honoured to have had this opportunity, and very grateful that our rescue was chosen to receive such a great gift!
Chris Fulton will always and forever be remembered by the lives he has touched, and the souls he has helped! From all of us at PUDR, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt thank you we can give.
In Memory of Chris Fulton, the life that was lost, gave more then imaginable, and has helped save more lives then we could have asked for!
Chris Fulton and his Best Friend Maggie!
